Before you start: the warning signs
Corset is exercise guidance, not medical advice. It can't examine you, and it doesn't check whether a routine suits you. If any of these sound familiar, get checked first. Stop any exercise that hurts sharply.
Call your emergency number or go to an emergency department if you have:
- Trouble controlling your bladder or bowels
- Numbness around the groin or bottom
- Weakness in an arm or a leg that is new or getting worse
See a doctor or physio soon if you have:
- Numbness or tingling in an arm or a leg
- Pain that started with a fall or an accident
- Pain together with fever or weight loss you can’t explain
- Pain that keeps getting worse, or wakes you at night
Common topics
- Your routines and history: they are saved on your device only. Clearing your browser data removes them. Save a backup in Settings → Your data, and restore it there or on a new device.
- Your own exercises with Claude: add the Corset connector, share a photo of your sheet and say “Put these exercises in Corset”. Open the routine from the card on your phone, or scan its QR code on a computer.
- Your own exercises with another AI: in Corset, open Routines → Add your own exercises → Make one with your AI → ChatGPT, Gemini or other → Copy message. Send it to your AI with your exercises, then paste its answer back with Paste.
- Photos of your sheet: a photo you give an AI assistant goes to that AI company, so cover your name and other personal details first. Corset doesn't check routines you add.
- Voice cues: check the volume and silent mode on your phone. Text cards for your own exercises are shown on screen, not read aloud: the voice only knows Corset's own exercises.
- Reminders: the browser version can't send them. Open a routine and tap “Add to my calendar” for a repeating event instead.
- Paying: Corset is free right now, and nothing is for sale. Questions about an earlier purchase or a membership key: email us.
- Fitness apps: link or unlink Garmin Connect in Settings → Connected apps. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Phones and browsers: the Android app is coming. Until then, try Corset at web.corset.app in a recent Safari, Chrome or Edge, and add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
Questions
Is Corset a medical app?
No. Corset is exercise guidance, not medical advice. It doesn't diagnose anything and it doesn't check whether a routine suits you. If something hurts sharply, or pain or tingling spreads down an arm or a leg, stop and see a doctor or physio.
Who made the library routines?
The 7-Minute Workout is the published circuit. The other eight are our own combinations of standard exercises, two of them built around McGill's Big Three. They're a sensible place to start, not a program written for you. If someone has given you exercises, bring those.
Does Corset check the routine my AI writes?
No. Corset shows the routine before anything is added and marks it “Not checked by Corset”. Exercises it knows get a moving figure and voice; others are shown as text cards. If you're unsure about something on the sheet, ask the person who gave it to you.
What leaves my phone?
Your routines, answers and history stay on your device, and there is no account. Only what you choose to send leaves it: a photo you give an AI assistant, a routine link you share, and a Garmin link if you turn it on. The privacy policy has the details.
Do I need to be online?
Only the first time you open it. After that, sessions with the default voice pace, your log and the export work without a connection. Making a routine with your AI needs the internet.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
The Android app is coming to Google Play; an iPhone app comes later. Until then, Corset runs in Safari, Chrome or Edge at web.corset.app. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
What happens when I get a new phone?
Save a backup in Settings, under Your data, and restore it on the new phone.
